Applied to a disc of clear acetate will look really good on the table.
Wonder if a thin layer of “interference/pearlescent” type paint would help the holographic look?
ok as a result of this, they will stop distributing the holos with the hacker minis. Am i the only one disappointed with this? I know i can print them on acetate sheets, but my printer sucks, and i dont want to have to buy a whole packet of acetate when im barely going to use one sheet. What else am i going to use these for other than hacker/engineer holos?
Agreed. It is disappointing. But hardly a deal breaker. 🙂
Depending on where you live you can have them printed quite cheap.
I will assume though that you can purchase a single sheet from a office supplies store.
Personally I can print them at my house, and achieve a far greater quality than the one provided in the blisters and temper them, that is great.
Be happy they provide a means for it. Some games manufacturers would just stop supporting the idea, then sue anyone that tried to (*cough* GW).

I really like it ! It’s neat, clean, precise, it saves a lot of time… And you can choose the scale, and perhaps modify the template, so that no two hackers are alike.

Im with you. I can see some on the ends of warmachine casters and such. I can use them for all sorts of things.
