The rulebook FAQ mentions that abilities using line of sight cannot be used from vehicle fire ports. In other rules, it mentions that the hull of an open-topped vehicle counts as the fire port. Can Anrakyr still use his Mind in the Machine ability while riding the Command Barge?
Oh, and you can still do plenty with Deathmarks. Have a Cryptek with Veil of Darkness, and they get to deepstrike with the Deathmarks as a unit (per the new FAQ) with anyone else attached to the unit!
The million dollar question though, when redeployed via Veil of Darkness, do Deathmarks get to target additional units?

Darrel I hate to burst your bubble, but Ghost Arks are not Land Raiders you don’t get the extra distance from turning them. They are on a flying base therefor their movement is measured from the base not the hull.
Well no, because its weapons, fire points and access points still work as normal according to the “measuring distances” section of page 71 of the rulebook- being open topped you deploy 2″ from any point of the vehicle’s hull, not the base.
It’s not about the movement distance, it’s about the firing distance.

problem i find in useing the voltaic staff on the storm cryptex is that its ap – so its -3 when you glance so your needing 6’s to take a weapon off
