Deadzone Marauders Call In The Reinforcements
February 12, 2014 by brennon
Mantic Games have continued the reinforcement of the factions in Deadzone with the Marauders next on the cards. All aspects of their top notch team have been given a booster pack to help with the struggle planet-side.
As you can see there are plenty of new ways you can tweak your Marauders team when you're playing Deadzone. I still love the Support Booster for this faction as it comes with that bad ass Marauder with the under slung rifle looking mean and keen.
If you fancy some more powerful support then you could always call in the Goblin Guntrakk which you can see above. This trundling Mortar looks to be their answer to the other heavy weapons for the Enforcers and the Plague.
Are Marauders your faction of choice and what will you be switching out when you pick up these booster packs?

this game is getting better everyday. i can’t wait to get mine.
These are all from the Kickstarter first wave. I am thinking of adding some odds and ends to the Guntrakk and am trying to come up with a good colour scheme for the Marauders – I do not want wall to wall green and no nutball primary colour overload – something military, dangerous, hard as nails. I like the warpaint on the KOW ogres so I may have a base at putting something similar on my guys for Deadzone.
sounds cool Dorthonion, send us a link when you have one ready. I like the theme idea you are describing.
Similar problem: I’ve never really been an Orc/Ork/Orx player but the style of the Commandos coupled with the background for the Marauders in Warpath just cries out for a “proper” military look. I’ve opted to prime the whole lot in Skeleton Bone, leaving that as the main colour for the Rippers, Hulks & Guntraks, whilst the infantry get Skelly Bone/ Steel Legion Drab for their fatigues. Not finished yet but starting to come together….
It may be a little while as I have nowhere to paint at present 🙁
Deadzone is an excellent game. I have the base set and think it’s great.
Only downsides were a few errata in the rules and standard quibbles about restic mold lines on some of the models.
Highly recommend picking it up.
