Sorry guys, the Talos cannot claim 12 attacks, Chain flails allow it to roll 2d6 attacks but you pick the highest die only.
I noticed you seem to have missed the fact that the special Dark Eldar weaponry bypass Instant death, as they are remove from play weapons.
deepstriking a monolith isn’t a risk 😉
i agre with u darrell i would take the engens . they are the best but i still think i will have a ravanger in there to . i like the model so i have to get one .
nice vid… hope you guys are going to make some lists too 😉
and i´d like to know if you can recommend DE ;D
don’t forget, open topped: all models can shoot (poisoned 4+), and models can assault after the vehicle moves. imo they’re essential.
has anyone thought about the fact that those Raiders are open topped transports AND are fast skimmers?
Those bloody things will go a long distance and still disembark, can only be hit on 6-es and then you can have a cheap 5+ inv. save.
Or you can have 24 + 2d6 inches of movement.
They will do their job, believe me. Those things are at least as survivable as a WaveSerpent and are likely to be the better transport (the serpent is better compared to it, if you like to use them as a light tank)
Aerial Assault lets you move 12″ and fire all 3 weapons on a Ravager, not Deep strike.
Fought against raiders at the weekend in GW, they perform really well and fit perfectly with the overall ethos of the dark eldar, fast, hard hitting but pretty soft when you take damage. They’re blood cheap for the effectiveness too, 125 points for a ravager and it should be able to destroy an enemy tank worth twice that with no problem…
I don’t have the codex yet so im not sure if you can take monstrous creatures through the webway portal; but it seems to me that if you took a talos who cares if the enemy surrounds the portal if that is what you bring through it.
I think all the vehicles are great! Even if the fighter and bomber are too expensive, I like the fact theyre there. Definately Talos and Cronos are amazing! Especially all the new weaponary they can take.
a void lance is not better than a rail gun. its twice the range and is AP 1
Also why don’t u simply move flat out and cover more ground and get a 4+ cover save at the same time.
i think it’s maybe meant against a land raider equivilant? with a void lance you need a 3 to glance and a 4 to pen, rail gun needs 4 to glance 5 to pen. but yes, range is much better on the rail gun.
Chain Snares are a must on the Raider, lose the dark lance drop off the squad and then turbo boost over enemy units and annoy them.
Did they get rid of the Dark Eldar Scourge unit? Don’t know if anyone used or wanted to use heavy weapons guys that had jump packs.
The scourges are still in the new codex
you use the cronos parasite engine like this. Buy the spirit probe and spirit vortex for 30 points. This buys you a flame template and blast template (that eat marines) that can each generate pain token and then you assault. In the melee you will possible win a pain token for killing a model (that you ignore armor on) and if you somehow manage to finish off the unit you gain a forth pain token on the cronos.
When the first peeks of the dark eldar came out, I wasn’t expecting a fleet of warships from ancient Greece. Hehe. They’re not bad, and you can’t beat hanging chains as a weapon, but I just dislike those sails. If the sails do allow the model to deep strike, maybe they’re an upgrade? If so, I found my excuse not to glue them on… Would have liked a vehicle upgrade, such as the eldar’s holo field, for some protection.
I’m liking the engines too, as I won’t be using wyches.
Going to work on the “sexy” for these list choices, hehe.
