Create a Ruined Celtic Scene with Scibor
May 29, 2012 by brennon
Some interesting terrain today from Scibor Miniatures. Check out their mashed up Celtic Ruins which has a few things in it that could be familiar...
While the immediate use would seem to be for Sci-Fi with that hulking great bust stuck into the ground there isn't enough on the terrain to suggest that would be the only way to go. I could see this forming the backbone of a table set in the frozen wastelands of the north where warbands gather beneath these ancient stones to venerate their godly ancestors.
I do also enjoy those rather nice looking wolf heads, very foreboding.
What do you make of these latest terrain pieces?

Heheh…Scibor really has just taken a chisel to that bust he made…guess it will sell better as terrain than a display piece which limits your market. The other ruins though aren’t tied to a Fenris-themed board so much so perhaps the ones with runic designs can be painted up to glow so they can be used as magical objectives like Arcane Fulcrums.
Some look sci-fi and others fantasy. In ether case I think only Space Wolf players would go for them. Nice but not for my type of table.
Winter is coming
Good for scenery, objectives or even crazy basing. Sci and fantasy could find a use I guess.
