Conquer The Earth In All Quiet On The Martian Front
May 8, 2013 by brennon
Alien Dungeon have unleashed their new game, All Quiet on the Martian Front, on Kickstarter and you can check out more concerning the campaign below and above in their informational video.
"All Quiet on the Martian Front is a 15mm battle game in miniature set during the second Martian War, circa 1910. After their first defeat a few years earlier at the hands of stiff British resistance and unexpected environmental factors, the Martians have returned. This time they have started their invasion from the New World and they have well established themselves before surging forward in an unstoppable tide of destruction. The game begins on the Mississippi Defense Line, with America desperately trying to hold back the Martian advance. Super weapons by Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison are being rushed to the front"
Right now they have already bust through their original target and are set on looking at stretch goals. From early concept work I was a little hesitant about this one but it's actually shaping up to be a good looking game. It certainly helps that the minds of Rick Priestley, Alessio Cavatore and Ernie Baker are behind this!
While I was originally focused on just looking at how shiny the Martian vehicles were the Human Tanks have got me pretty interested too. I love the look of that Mark V Goliath!
What do you make of this Alien Kickstarter?

This is actually looking rather interesting.
Disappointed that they have changed the setting.
Does look fun, though wonder about the possibility of limitations to the game.
So far it is Humans vs Martians on land
Expansion could be Humans on Dreadnaughts vs Martians thought the ship models might be rather big.
After that it is aeroplanes maybe?
Finally Godzilla vs Martians! The expansion you have all been waiting for! lol
Should have watched the video first DOH!
No Godzilla in the pipeline 🙁
Does look fantastic.
Great first step. This might be even better if I can mash them into FOW. I know different game by different company. Still like the idea and the plastic kits look cool.
Some plastic tripod walkers might be worth getting just because (for the modelling) if the price is not too steep.
Sadly they are not in my preferred 1/72 scale.
Have a feeling that Pegasus may have done one that sort of size.
Pity I did my FOW in 1/72nd scale too, would have given me some nice mini’s to mess with my opponents before a game.
I don’t think you need to worry about the minute difference in scale when talking about Tripods really.
Some really cool looking stuff in the Kickstarter for this, looking forward to December when it comes out!. Hopefully they can bust through some more stretch goals. Fingers xd BOW can feature it!
