Very pretty. Just need to model some baggy trousers on it and it’ll fit right in 🙂
Baggy pataloons FTW!!! I’m so excited about this miniature finally being released I might actually have squealed when I saw it last night… and yes I know that makes me a little girl.
How come I get just one thumbs up for making a funny, and you get 2 thumbs up for being a gurl?
Life’s so unfair ;P
Obviously sweaty nerdy boys are more impressed by gurls than funny people 😉 …. I know I am!!!
*sigh*
I must be the exception…
BoW Romain
@elromanozo either that or you’re just not nerdy enough.
@Quirkworthy it’s not a competition… but if it was I’d be winning 😉 also life is very unfair and wargaming proves it. Some people are cursed while others have dice faeries that help them out.
I know it’s not a competition (though I will beat you in the end!), and like most things I do it was because I thought it was funny. I have a rather Roger Rabbit view of the world at times. You have to. Plenty of grim around without adding to it 🙂
True, true the world is grim enough as it is. Hence why I love mini’s that make me squeal like a little girl!!! 🙂
I like the idea of a baggy pantaloon platoon
With chibibots …
Chibibots, does that sound wrong to anyone else?
I don’t know why, but when @Quirkworthy mentioned baggy pantaloons, I just imagined a Panoceania force in lederhosen with feathers in their hats…
Is it bad, doctor ?
BoW Romain
Yes its bad elromanozo… but not as bad as what I had, I instantly thought of hammertime!!!
Two thoughts, Romain. Firstly, you’re the chap to do the conversions for the PanO. I asked you what force you might be taking, and there’s your answer. Look forward to seeing them 🙂
Secondly, I was going to say that is was so bad we might have to operate, but then I thought about where that line of thought might go, and perhaps I should just stay quiet (very hard for me to do though).
@Sirangry, nothing wrong with hammertime. I used just that crusty old joke in Dwarf King’s Hold 🙂

Panoceania in lederhosen ? Hammertime ? Oh, but there is far, far worse…
TAGs and Remotes on ice, for example, or Ariadna’s dog soldiers in drag !
BoW Romain
Oooooooh shiiiiney gimmeh!
As a PanO and a Haqqi player, I am less than excited about it. 😛 Joking aside, I’d like that sword “belted” on the midriff more, but with my lack of knowledge of the traditional Japanese weaponry, it might represent something else (some arm blade?). What I really love about the Infinity concepts is how they’ve depicted the overall similar tech level of the (most of) various factions, yet given them very distinctive characteristics; i n other words – most of the weaponry (Ariadna and Combine excluded) looks like it was made in a contemporary arms race, but it shows… Read more »
Oooow sweeeet! 😀
Oh yes 😀 finally a tag for the Yu Jing which doesnt look like a fat man suit, love this model! When’s it being released?
what happend to the base? the model is very nice! reminds me of the past… when i used to play probotector on my game boy ^^
Want. Been trying to resist adding any infinity miniatures to my collection but it’s obviously futile with models like this in the range. Japanese sectorial army here I come.
I have been trying to find both the rule books though as they seem to be the only way to get the fluff, however they seem to be extremely thin on the ground, not even listed on the official Infinity online store. Don’t suppose Beasts of War have any info from your contacts at Corvus Belli when they’ll be back in circulation?
@ jabbaa: if you go onto http://www.infinitythegame.com and have a look at the miniatures tab, they have got the fluff for the unit types in there (click on a model and you’ll see it).
Hope that helps.

I never wanted to start a Japanese sectorial army… damn…..
This has to be one of the nicest miniatures of the whole Infinity universe… and definitely the best TAG so far.
Need! Nuff said!
is it me, or does it look pregnant?
Shhhh… nobody knows yet.
Can’t you see the arms are already coming out? Happy Birthday!
No, it’s you that looks preggers Unamable 😉
If that isn’t Appleseed inspired I don’t know what it is. I was hoping the koalas would look different though. I think they are the exact same model as the ones for the massai hunter. Otherwise it’s pretty cool. Though this model is a example of why I would like them to do resin for the TAGs. This thing is going to need a lot of pinning on the gun arm and hips. Also because of weight. You can tell it’s going to be very right side heavy. I don’t think a counter-weight under the base is going to help… Read more »
Looks similar to linebarrel the anime especially where the sword is positioned.
Aren’t those little guys Crazy Koalas that belong to the Nomad faction.
You’ll learn that nothing really ‘belongs’ to any faction in Infinity. If the other factions develop something cool or useful, in the fluff the other factions either buy it off of them or nick it!!!
@lucas I believe it is a play on the samurai who followed kido(demon’s path/way) they chained the sheath to their off hand and weilded the sheath like a shield. It was said they had lost everything.
As for me, I will be painting and modeling my JSA as such tattered cloaks and repositioning the swords. So-on and so-forth. I love the model and I think appleseed pioneered a functional mecha design that can be modified to fit any universe and sincit is real tech it falls into the category of fair-game
The more I see the more i want. This is proof that Infinity is the best game on earth. I will be dreaming of the day I can ride a real T.A.G.
Thats one good reason to start playing Infinity. Now only if those were sold around here so that I don’t need to order them from some internet store.
Shut up and take my money!!!
Damn you CB thats a REALLY nice T.A.G. Will deffinatly be getting on of these for my JSA force.
I started playing infinity when it was just the starter box sets and CB never cease to make me draw breath. Lets hope that mantic look more to emulate this kind of quality than that other company who also make me draw breath, but for all the wrong reasons!
Mine!
I still say it totally looks like the Armed Suit from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Even painted white like the one from the Umibozu.
That and appleseed are the same design and it is known that infinity is inspired by anime so it makes sense doesn’t it
Indeed, especially since this is the japanese TAG after all… no need for disguise here !
BoW Romain
thats a beautiful model, one of the best pure mecha design ive seen in this scale .. just the rifle has a character of its own .. getting one of these frrrsssrrrr
Does anybody else hate how some of their models are too big for their bases so they make those extender pieces? Make a bigger base or when you sculpt, design it with 20, 30, 40, 50mm in mind.
It is the pose that requires the extentions on this model
Yep its a bit annoying tbh with you. Both the Marut and the O-Yoroi have succumbed to this new evil. Luckily I’m not planning on tournament gaming so for this I’ll just buy a bigger MAS urban base and for my Aleph I just got a bigger Omega Prime base.
I agree… This is sad, as the poses are beautiful. Me, I’d just put them on a scenic base that has a raised surface larger than the base itself… But of course you lose tactical advantage due to increased height. Not that it matters where those large TAGs are concerned, most of the time… And I’d rather lose a bit with impressive minis than win with a grey army, especially with those lovely Infinity models !
BoW Romain
Glad it’s not just me that thinks it’s weird. I mean, CB are the ones who decide how big the bases need to be in the game and also the ones who decide how big the models should be and how they get posed. Joining those dots ain’t rocket science. I also find it odd as CB are far from shy when it comes to sculpting things in odd poses, and there are plenty of interesting poses possible that would fit on the base without building outriggers.
Strange.
