Coming Soon Dual Cannons from Puppets War
July 31, 2011 by beerogre
Puppets War, a company renowned for their resin conversion kits, is due to launch their range of Dual Cannons.
These kits are designed to fit larger mech models, like those that would come on a 50mm base.
As an example of scale, the guys have posted a picture of the Dual Cannons attached to painted Dreadnought model.
The kits aren't available yet, but we'll be sure to tell you when they are!
they look quite good but they dont fit this cybot model they are to big for him.
No, they’re perfect… The garbage can has what it deserves.
BoW Romain
i agree! very good kit
Bit harsh Romain, but dreads ARE clunky…part of the charm really.
Those arms don’t suit a standard model though IMHO – a Venerable Dreadnought with the marine’s head showing would be better suited to those Pre-Heresy termy-style arms.
Psyfleman players will love it.
I agree with you !!
me likeeh
These look like thay may work with the contemptor dread. YAy
They are very nice but they have been put on the wrong dread, the segmented armour sort of loses continuity with the rest of the model. But I agree that would work with the Contemptor
They’re going to get into trouble…
Yeah I saw this yesterday when I was tempting myself to get the Gringo Orc heads…I should probably get them before they get a C&D love letter from GW 😉
That’s exactly what I was referring to. I can hear them being written even now. Have they not been paying attention? It’s all too obvious.
I can’t look.
As crazy as it sounds, GW dose not own ‘Orcs’ or ‘Dual Cannons’. If anything, they will just need to take down the photo of the dread.
you can fit it on a dread so what it looks like nothing gw makes im more afraid od the razorback guns they have made
It’s not a problem with the guns, it’s the fact that they are using a GW Dreadnought in their advertising for them rather than, say, a chunky and familiar silhouette…
This C&D nonsense is really annoying when it prevents people from getting a sense of scale. Anyone who plays MERCS might know what I mean, the scale comparisons they show now are one shorter than they used to be.
Personally I’d love to see Microsoft/Disney/Lucasarts use a GW model for scale in their ads, then GW Legal would learn the true meaning of ‘overreach’… 😉
What a great idea. Does anyone know Mr Lucas’ phone number?

Dear Puppetswar: Prepare to sell a lot of kits.
Why have they put Warjack shoulders on a Space Marine Dreadnought? Guns look good, shoulders pad look wrong.
Those a magnificent.
Woops: are*
Those could look good on Heavy Warjack.
I want that dreadnought to say ”I want your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle” with those guns on it lol
I think they’ll probably look better on any dread other than the basic one to be honest, some of the forgeworld one for instance look a bit more rounded and less dumpster-on legs, so the shoulders will fit in better, but the arms that join the guns to the shoulders are a bit weedy looking, and the workings are exposed to the sides, looks like a lasgun would be able to take it off in one shot.
It has that cygnar look to the shoulders. I can see them with this.
Might be a starting point for Auto Cannon conversions
i’d happily use them for twin auto cannon dreads.
