The whole challangeing thing does get you re-thinking on how to build your characters and orks dont seem to be at the races when it comes to this.
They may not be as competitive as they were but I think they are still one of the best armies for a fun game.
I did enjoy your comments about weirdboys. I have come up against them a few times and they have never got much past turn two before they kill themselves.
Still trying to manage how to build my army from now on… But 20 Boyz chargin’ out of a Battle Wagon is till something to consider, according to me.
The only problem with these codex reviews for 6th is every time I watch one I am tempted to start a new army, I don’t even play that much.
Another great vid guys.
Well all except Crons, don’t really like cuddly robots.
Fliers?
Well… Flyers ain’t in the Codex so, maybe that’s why the guys didn’t talk about it…
Whilst they’re not in the physical Codex their rules are effectively an addendum to Codex Orks and so I’d have thought they’d have been discussed, especially seeing as this was a discussion of 6th Edition.
Given that reference was made to the effectiveness of certain of the Ork units against fliers I still expected an appraisal of the flier variants available to Ork players to have been included.
I have to agree but the guys said that this is only a preliminary review. Maybe next one will include opinions on ork flyers and the best ways to build lists.
I think the general consensus is that Dakka jets are one of the better builds. You can pretty much shoot your weapons all the time. This is very important as new models tend to get shot at a lot and with only paper thin armour its not going to last very long.
But at least with these flyers you get to make wooshing noises as you move them around the board, oh and Dakka Dakka Dakka too.
I think that on a waagghhh you get to fire everything twice as well.
Yes. On the turn you call a Waaagh! You can fire everything twice. That’s, indeed, a lot of dakka! Mine has just arrived! Can’t wait to pick it up and start building ad painting it!
😉
When is this codex slated to hit north america?
warpheads are random, but that’s orks – to be be predicatable is boring! For ork players winning tournaments is not what its all about – how about having a laugh. Zogwort can turn Arjac into a squig! I’ve got a converted squig I made from green stuff and a space wolves torso. I l also love getting an extra waargh on basically a 5-6.
This was a really good video,
However I still feel somewhat discounted as a ork player in 6th.
