Nice video John – I’m returning to painting miniatures and as they’ll nearly all plastic now I found this film very helpful thankyou. There’s a few things I’d like to ask you: Firstly what glue do you use? That dispenser looks spot on. Also there seemed to be quite a lot of split line flash (the line where the moulds halves meet) on those figures, is that common on most makes of models? I’d imagine it’d would show up like a bitch when painted. Lastly, watching you use your blade to clean up the sprue marks made me think of… Read more »
@adam72 and @jtm93 its revel plastic cement, you can get it at scale model shops (airfix, revvel, that kinda thing) i use it quite a lot, its a lot thiner than workshops and it sets faster. the only problem is the nozzle can block, so usuall i take them off when their jammed, which can cause spills 😛

Better to use the lighter gluetip trick in a well ventilated area..or outside 😉
i agree with adam72 why not tell us what glue you use and where you get it… and the elongated necks make them look kinda alien-y if that makes sense…
