You had fun though right? And now we all get to tease Darrell, cos he got beat by a girl! 😀
Incidentally, how did imperial guard platoons work with these rules? Cos if they’re allowed I’d see that as a huge advantage right from the get-go.
It sounded like a fun day. Time you guys get into Orks by the sounds of things at the end.
This seems more my style , I’ve always been put off by tournaments for a couple of reasons, mainly that the uber competitive types would simply roll over me every game, I don’t really mind losing (good job the way I play) but I do like to enjoy the games, I can’t see that happening with rule bending and win at all costs lists your average tournie consists of.
This seems more of a light hearted version that levels the playing field a little.I like that.
Glad you had fun. Will you be keeping up with GKs and 40k?
I like games where you can’t take your standard lists, makes you play outside your comfort zone and they are never quite as simple as you first think.
Looks like it was a good day as you ended with the old familiar Next time I’ll take…………………
Great to hear a good battle report. It beats reading the white dwarf ones. I might get a similar tourniment set up myself as it is small points and can get a few games in quite quickly
