Gavin has brought in the Kraken from Privateer Press for us to have a look at but what will Scott and Dave think when compared to their own offerings, the mighty X-Wing Millenium Falcon and the Loup-Garous for Infinity?

I’m a big fan of the kraken model

very cool
So disappointed that nobody said “RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!!” lol but you gotta love the millennium falcon.
Large undead steam punk monstrosity even if your not cryx you have to love it.
Woohoo Kraken! Superb Model and it will definetly annoy the hell out of its opponents.
@dawnpatrolchapter : Nice One!
Very nice models. The Kraken is amazing!
hey guys just found the sight got to say it’s nice to see some love for the Cryx. love the video. the falcon looks awesome and i’m not looking forward to dealing with the loup-garou with my tohaa. unless we can get them some white flags.
Bah… the Kracken is kewl granted, in the game at least, but realy it looks pretty herrendous when compared with other colossals.
Well the kraken does look nice when finished on the table but still had less parts than the Galleon.
Think the Millenium Falcon was the clear winner there.
I’ve never been a fan of the “squishy” back legs the Kraken got, but otherweise it’s a brilliant model. Gets alot of “tabletime” around here, probably the most fielded Colossal in my meta
Great video guys! Really liking this series!
nice that they’re all from different systems this time and definitely picking up a x wing box now that will please the guys at club I’m sure 😉 also a gaming mat is always nice! i’ll prob get the moon one 🙂 the infinity models looked nice but would like to see some assembled before i make any decisions there i think.
The kraken looks like lots of fun 😀 i think that would be very fun with Mortenebra actually plus all the fun little solos Cryx get… lots of filth to exploit :L
I don’t like these people…
In this video I’ve wait the loup garoup and when they come the camera was blurry and 2 minutes only.. on 26″
I miss Darrel and 1 product video was more interesting…
I was able to see what I really looking for…
“I don’t like these people” As I know the guys on this video a little more than the 26 minutes you’ve had to decide on, I promise they’re much nicer and worth giving a chance to! That said, I agree a final shot of the assembled figs would be nice. Its something the Beasts of War guys are trying to get into their videos going forward but its dependant on what is available and whether they have any examples of the models assembled. I’m a fan of the three unboxings and a ‘wildcard’ surprise one at the end as it… Read more »
Gotta agree with u! The three model format is very nice and the surpise at the end not to mention that there is a competition in with these which is a massive bonus. I do however also think that you need to give these presenters time to bed in to get past the whole “deer stuck in the headlights” thing that is sorta going on in these videos. After awhile i’m sure everything will be more natural and have a better flow. Remember beasts of war are doing us a solid just by making these vids and I for one… Read more »
Disliking the presenters is somewhat harsh.
However, you can tell they are new to it. You can also see from all the videos that some are developing the knack for presentating faster than others.
I do however think that the multiple unboxing while in theory I would agree is better currently isn’t working for me. The wildcard at the end was pretty cool but unless you know about it which I didn’t I very nearly bypassed the video. I would prefer a bit of the discussion of in game role which was vague at best.
Yup, I think it’s simply a case of give it time…
Let the presenters settle in and let us tune the show formats.
It’s like I said when we started to shake things up mid Jan, for me the content is king so we’re gonna let it find its feet and hopefully improve stuff as we go.
Indeed, interesting to see how it develops – and what happens going forward/ On a side note the weekender is a strong addition to the channel. Stuart, has hit the ground running and brings a real enthusiam to the channel which is one of the big pluses for me. Battle reports/let play/play throughs would also be good.maybe once tech and time gets sorted live event coverage would be great. Oh and something that introduces begineers like the malifeux and carnivale weekends mentioned translated to the screen would be grat for those not able to make tabletop nation. I admit the… Read more »
Whilst I don’t wish to comment on the presenters as like people have said. You can’t judge someone on just a few minutes.
I do have to say that i’m with lorderon when it comes to the format though. It sucks donky balls. (In my opinion.)
The old format of 1 presenter doing 1 unboxing was much better. It allowed more focus on each item so that items didn’t get rushed over and it allowed you to find the product you want to know about easier.
Another nice vid. Thanks guys.
well, as a cryx player, and a singer of a band who wrote songs called “warmachine” and “release the kraken” it would be a travesty if i didnt win! lol! love that figure!!!!!
Amazing model guys just needs 40 hrs painting and a new warmachine shopping list! Great job guys its nice to see some new faces on beasts of war keep up the grand job and don’t let the trolls drag you down.
hold on there sparky,
just because somebody is missing darrell doesnt constitue calling them a troll. Hey its sort of different for me too, not seeing those guys either. However at the end of the matter I feel we should give the noobie panel here a shot as well…
atleast these guys are putting some effort into privateer press. This is a plus, I am about 40k the f**k out right about now 🙂
I would love to win
That thing is Kraken awesome!!!! (I know, lame lol)
I’d be okay with getting a Cryx model; it’d give me a reason to pick up more Warmachines.
Loves me some Warmachine colossals are awesome.
That Kraken looks pretty sweet and I don’t even play that faction! =D
Kraken 8D gimme gimme gimme
Can’t wait to get my hands on the Millennium Falcon, beautiful looking model!
That is indeed a crackin’ looking Kraken! 🙂
I love the Loup Garous myself, Infinity have some of the nicest miniatures on the market imo, I really love the aesthetic!
Another great vid, thanks guys. Its nice to see some Infinity.
Great video guys! Love the Millenium Falcon. ‘Nuff said. The Loup Garous are awesome and they assemble quite easily. That Kraken would be great with my newly started Cryx!
The chance for a Kraken in all its tentacle glory count me in. Love all the colossals Privateer Press outdid themselves with the sculpts, so much glorious details. Come on Dragonfather give me your favor.
Not bad, not bad. If I ever get a Kraken, I’m going to annoy the crap out of people with that release the kraken line.
