A new Warhammer Underworlds warband has been previewed by Games Workshop for their smaller-scale Warhammer Age Of Sigmar board/card/miniatures game. Borgit’s Beastgrabbaz are looking to cause some mischief in The Mortal Realms.

Borgit Wolf-Killa - Warhammer Underworlds

Borgit Wolf-Killa // Warhammer Underworlds

This warband is led by Borgit Wolf-Killa and his crew are searching for the trail of Trugg, The Troggoth King so they can join his ranks. They also fancy themselves hunters and beast-nabbers and Borgit himself is a cunning killer.

Backing up Borgot, you have his mates in the form of Snagz...

...and Hobblin' Dregg who probably enjoys shooting people in the knees. I always like the storytelling that you get with Warhammer Underworlds miniatures as the sculptors have had some space to really go to town on all of the characters from a set.

Hobblin Dregg - Warhammer Underworlds

For example, Hobblin' Dregg has that sneaky friend who keeps his arrows coated in poison using a horrible organ that must have been dragged from the body of a spider.

These Grots are backed up by another pair in the form of Rigg And Shamm who have disguised themselves in the skin of a Squid so they can lure the warbands' heavy hitter into the midst of the fighting.

Backing everyone up with a fearsome club is Uglug, a smaller Troggoth with big dreams. Once again, the miniatures are looking fantastic and work as a great showcase of the Gloomspite Gits as a larger faction in Warhammer Age Of Sigmar.

Uglug - Warhammer Underworlds

The only element of the warband that I'm not so sure about is the face of Uglug. I can't quite make out how it's meant to look as those eyes seem awfully close to those tusk-like teeth! Otherwise, the warband is great fun.

A new Rivals Deck will be released alongside the warband to support it however it can also be used for any other warband if you prefer. Edge Of The Knife has been designed to work with warbands where you have a lot of low-health fighters so it could also be good alongside the likes of the Sepulchral Guard. We will no doubt get more information on the deck in the near future.

What do you make of this new warband for Warhammer Underworlds?
