When the Necrons get released i hope you guys do a Necron month not just a week…….we’ve waited 9/10 years for the new shiney toasters.
if we did a necrons month it would leave me sitting at my PC with my eyes burned out by the end of it… 🙂

I really like from Astorath just becouse he looks so badass. I’m not convinced by HQ choices that are not special characters althought those surely are cheaper in points.
You seemed to have forgot the honor guard squad. This is a great option for when using Dante.
Guys, the blood angels is one of the newer codexs out, you even did a week on it. Please do the older codex’s first and show them some love.
@maddogdwh … Unfortunately, the Blood Angels week was lost and needs to be recovered. We get a lot of requests every week for the BA content, so Darrell and I went through the codex again just to bring things up to date.
We’ll be looking at the other Codex too. Stay tuned

I agree that was classic BOW I laughed so hard my eyes were tearing up…
Gabriel Seth & Tycho I’ve never seen as its well known they are not worth their points. The Sanguinor, Dante and Astorath may look good but they aren’t deemed worth their points but definately show up once in a while. The only HQ we see in tourneys these days are Mephiston, Chaplains/Reclusiarch (only w/Death Company though) and Librarians. Overall the lack of any invulnerable saves for Blood Angels (unless you take terminator variant) make our HQ choices all very vulnerble to power weapons. I actually built a jump list modeled after Darrells jump list using Dante and Sang. Guard ,Assault squad. ETC… Then came into a tie for 3rd. place. For a summer league I was new to the game back then. It was cool being able to use the lists they put together here for the new people like me back then.

Right now that’s out the way, the decent of angels rule only works with jump packs and only when you’re using them for deep strike, it doesn’t work with drop pods or stormturkeys.
The Blood Angle Captain is identical to the Space Marine Captain- the orbital strike belongs to the Chapter master, which a chapter only has one of, for the Blood Angels that’s Dante, who’s far more interested in getting his axe dirty than triangulating a bombardment with his fleet.
i always take either dante and a captain on bike or jump pack or sanguinar and reclusiarc with jump pack and use the model for the death company bloke that i cant remember the name of

I liked most of this video, though I’d like to hear more of the actual rules, and less about how they compare to SW. Also, I think you missed a MAJOR part of Dante’s rules, he has a Death Mask that works as a regular Death Mask, but it also allows you to lower the Weapon Skill, Wound, Initiative, and Attack of an enemy Independent Character of your choice by 1 each BEFORE forces are even deployed (to a minimum of 1).
