Your iPod Knows No Fear

Dan Abnett's Horus Heresy book Know No Fear is now available in audio as an mp3 download from Black Library.
When war comes to Calth and set the planet aflame, the Ultramarines face annihilation against a foe who will use any means to settle their bitter grudge.
I am really getting into Black Library's range audiobooks and dramas as they allow me to get my Warhammer fix even when I have a lot of other stuff on my plate . This looks like it could definitely be making its way to my earphones soon.
Its good to see that this one is unabridged as I feel that abridged often means you can be missing out.
Are any of you fans of the audiobooks? Might you download this one?

While I can read, I’m going to. Sorry, I’m a fan of the maxim that a man who won’t read is as disadvantaged as the one who can’t. Strucutral decoding is good for your brain. Your imagination fires up when you consider certain words together. You can play with structure, form, style and speed the reader up ro slow them down. An audio book cheats you of the delight of words.
I don’t like how much they cost vs. the amount of entertainment. That much money for only one car trip to work? I’d rather have a book that lasts me a couple weeks of lunches.
Well the audiobook has a runningtime of aprox. 11 hours. Though it is a lot of money you get more then just a 40 minutes radio play.
I hope you don’t have an eleven hour way to work 🙂
