Back To The Beginning With Batman Arkham Origins

Knight Models aren't just taking on the world of Middle-Earth this month. They have also revealed the Arkham Origins models for Batman and Bane's Crew. Will you be taking on the back breaking beast?
Arkham Origins is the latest in the franchise of video games and sees Batman taking on a whole host of assassins that are hunting him down over the Christmas period. This is also a game where Batman takes on a more brutal role and is less tempered by his experiences with other villains.
Maybe this is something that could be reflected in any rules for Batman at this period. Either way Bane is quite the deadly enemy and the models are looking great. Now we just need to see Deathstroke!
What do you think?

Knight models already has a Deathstroke model. It’s pretty cool looking. I have a few minis for this game but haven’t played it yet. I’m hoping to get someone else in my area interested.
They have 3 versions of Bane already… I’m hoping for a wider assortment of villains, myself.
The Watchmen (which isn’t even the same universe) have stat cards and they might draw my wife’s eye. I’ve been a big Deathstroke fan since his introduction and glad to see his classic suit.
Too many cool looking games out there, but so many of them require a ton of work. It’s rough being an eclectic geek. You end up broke with nothing finished. 😛
Oh great, another version of Batman based on the video games. Just what the line needed.
For that very reason is why I think this game might not have much of a future. Nice models but not really focused on filling out the game itself.
On the one hand, I’d imagine that producing film and video game versions of popular characters would maximise the individual mini sales. On the other hand, and as you say, it doesn’t either build a game or build buy in to a game from the fanbase. It seems quite a short-term approach.
