Battle Systems Close In On Their Kickstarter Launch
September 23, 2013 by brennon
Battle Systems have some fantastic terrain on the way and it's just aching to be taken to the tabletop. Before that though there is a Kickstarter campaign on the way and below you can check out some of the awesome kit you could get your hands on.
As you can see these interior locations are looking superb. They work well with 28mm miniatures as the Mantic Warpath stuff shows here and they would be great for skirmish games. I could see some great scenarios playing out on this stuff.
It helps that the guys behind this project are actually nice chaps who deserve your attention if nothing else. Check out their blooper reel for the Kickstarter video they are putting together above.
Do you think you will be pledging?

Saw this at the UK games Expo, awesome looking stuff.
can I pledge to this kickstarter to have them come to my gaming club? So funny seeing the bloopers 🙂
Thanks Hithero,
Hmmm, so where is your games club Manpug
:o)
Wow. Great stuff. :O
looking good… wondering if it’ll be snap fit for ease of storage or not as i’d love a set of those turbines and things
It certainly is snap together… Well slot together. :o)
looks like cool stuff 🙂 will have to get enough for a 4″ x 4″ table for infinity, wonder if the guys could do up a steam punk city for Warmachine.
Great, another kickstarter that I want to pledge to. I’m going be broke soon.
What is this stuff? Laser-cut MDF with printed on details?
As far as I can tell, the kit will use (high quality) card stock that is mostly assembled by slotting the pieces together, with acrylic clips to hold together the larger, flatter pieces such as lengths of wall or floor tiles. Conceptually it is similar to the Terraclips stuff but Battle Systems seem to be providing a lot more 3D relief than you would get from the WWG stuff, making it closer to terrain than a series of inter-connected rooms.
Alas for my wallet, I will *also* be backing this project..
can your stuff be magnatised instead of held by the tabs?
Hi,
Great explanation Siygess, i could not have said it better. We are all about 3D and we’re trying to bring the cost of terrain down, without loosing any of the cool looks. We have been working with manufactures for 7 months straight just to get the tooling right and we are virtually ready. If you like terrain then jump in on the KS, we are forgoing tea-shirts and litho’s in favour of giving more product in the stretch goals… should we get their (don’t want to jinks it :o) so keep an eye out. Thanks all
