Battle Orks on the Move as Roadhouse Develop 40k Game
March 21, 2013 by dracs
Another company is making a deal with Games Workshop to turn the world of Warhammer 40k into a game. This time Roadhouse Interactive are set to make a Space Marine game for your smartphone and tablet.
The game will apparently be a side scroller, with players taking control of a single Space Marine as he faces hordes of orks, blasting his way through the 41st Millenium.
It is pretty cool to see so many games being announced for the world of 40k, but I have to say that I would prefer it if at least one of them wasn't focusing on Space Marines. I mean I know they are GW's poster boys, but would it kill someone to make a maybe a sniper game as an Eldar Ranger, or a stealth game as an Imperial assassin? Or even just a standard shooter. Does anyone remember Fire Warrior for the PS2? That was a great game.
What sort of game do you hope to see coming out of this partnership?

SAM!! thought you were in prison?! Any video on this?
Dude I do a couple of articles every day here haha. I’m afraid no vid as yet, the development has just been announced
I just wish that they would stop saying that there are going to be several games coming out for both of GW’s own franchises, and instead choose one game to pour all of the effort into.
@dracs i’d love to play as a guardsman going against the enemy, maybe holding off waves of plague zombies. no fancy power armour just good old cardboard and a flashlight. i’m actually studying video games design at college so maybe one day i could make it happen 🙂
Not backing anything GW related atm … even if this is probably a cool game
