Just to point out something else that’s a bit cheesy that isn’t talked about. Flat Out + Power of the Machine Spirit. This is the first fast vehicle that can do both and me and my friends have found no rules that really says that you can’t use your PotMS after a Flat Out. This especially is good with a first turn twin-linked multi-melta. Another option I do like is the Furioso Librarian Dreadnought with the Shield of Sangiunius power, sitting inside the StormRaven and giving the 5+ cover, even if you don’t get the first round. you cant have spec weapons in a 5 man squad. the squad must have at least 10 for spec or heavy weapons.
Yep. Can’t help but think that’s a turnip.
what i would do is have the field commander with chain sword and bolter (nothing that special with him) with a tactical squad (weapons veraying on the situation) to help him a land raider for a transport a dreadnought or a v dreadnought with an assault cannon and auto cannon with the accompany of a furyoso dreadnought and for the storm raven i would have it trans port a terminator assult squad ( or terminators ) and another furyoso dreadnought either a jump pack squad or a heavy weapons squad (cant remeber there name right now) (im a noob at… Read more »

Just thought I would Clear that up
🙂
my experience vs storm ravens is that its a 100% all in. it either goes really well or the games all over on turn 2. It is fun to play and play against though so i only think its cheese if it goes well.
Actually, guys, the Land Raider Achilles is the toughest vehicle in 40K, albeit a Forgeworld model. It is great against both armor and infantry. It’s in all my large point armies.
