Anvil Industry goes Mainstream

Moving on from their successful eBay store, Anvil Industry have launched their own website, selling their range of Steam Lords and custom Steam Lord sets.
The standard Steam Lord comes in this configuration...
However, you can customise the design and order yourself a units of your custom Steam Lords for a few extra quid. Here's an example:
The paint-job doesn’t do any favors, but the bits are interesting, and it’s a good alternative for… Well, you know.

i’m not sold, they lok kinda soft and lackluster, and for the price might as well jsut grab ge plastics. hell for 3 quid more might as well pick up the much better looking forgeworld marine kits.

Yeah, the price is what makes it hard to swallow for me too. If they were cheaper I’d be tempted to pick up a squad or two, for variety’s sake, or just to help out a smaller manufacturer, but I really don’t know if I could justify that much for five minis. I’m almost sworn off of GW as it is.
Hey Guys, Just to let you know that in response to feedback recieved here and elsewhere, Ive adjusted the price downward, a lot. Basic Custom Steam Lords are now £2.90 without a scenic base, £3.30 with a scenic base. I sat down with my caster and went through all the numbers/costs etc to work out the absolute minimum I can sell them at and still justify investing in new miniatures kits, The new “flat rate” low pricing is a lot more straightforward than the previous arrangement, and will hopefully make the minis accessible to many more gamers. Would love to pick up a unit, if sold that way. Would like to use in Warpath. If $ is in line. I agree with the statements above, but truly believe you are on to something hear.
