Amazing Smith Knight from Kabuki Models

If you're a Salamander Space Marine player, then you might want to check out the fantastic looking Smith Knight from Kabuki Models.
As Darrell and my dear brother recently sat down to create a horribly abusive Salamanders army list with a unholy number of combi-meltas... which is well on it's way to being modelled and complete... I think I know what I'll be getting someone for Xmas.

Don’t buy it yet Andy, I think the scale is 40mm. Still brilliant sculpt and paint. Gotta be Vulcan. That salamander crawling up is just cool, ok well maybe cool is the wrong word for a Salamander but I cant come up with anything else now. The marble work on the head of the hammer, and the sculpt of the claw that is clasping the head to the handle, wow. And the cape. I’ve seen a few attempts at blending purple and green on scales. My bro already has a Vulcan model. This is going to be a Space Marine Captain//Chapter Master for that funky Orbital Relay… 40mm just means he’ll be epic!
Darrell will probably cry… he always wants to model his Marines as knelling down (or even lying down)… but a massive Space Marine will look ace!
A salamander! That’s what that is! I didn’t know what it was as first until I read you comment. It’s a clever idea for the base.
I read this as “Sith Knight” at first which would have been much more awesome. Its not that bad a figure for those who want something a bit different

To be honest, this stuff just annoys me. Don’t get me wrong WH40K has it’s fans and I respect that, but all of these companies that “feed” like scavengers from the GW I.P. really do little to help the industry and tabletop wargaming grow. Oh, I bet they cause a minor headache for GW as well, but I’m sick and tired of seeing crappy WH40K rammed down my throat by every start up miniatures company that comes along, honestly the list of bottom feeders is astounding!
