Airlock Games Preview Counterblast Lancers

Airlock Games and Bombshell Minis have previewed some of the faction models for the Lancers in Counterblast, their adventure battle game. See what you think of these daring spacefarers.

"Hailing from countless worlds and commonly seen operating throughout the vast regions of the galaxy are bands of miscreants, fortune hunters, and those merely struggling to survive collectively known as 'Lancers'. While many are traders, privateers or mercenaries seeking honest employment, hard times can drive some to unlawful activities like smuggling or piracy. Still others choose to embrace crime freely, tempted by the profits to be made in spite of the risks."

Sounds very cool indeed. I do like the idea of space pirates and fortune hunters and this could well be a favourite faction from what we've seen so far. There are also a few more concept art pieces as well as sculpts to enjoy.

Is it bad that now I've seen all the animal and alien crew members I want them to do a Bucky O'Hare to lead one of the crew into battle? This is all looking very fun and original and I can't wait to see how it comes together.

I'm a particular fan of those one eyed aliens. More of them please.
