AE WWII and AE Bounty New Game Releases
August 8, 2010 by warzan
New book for AE WWII taking the action (in tanks) to Basra - and finally the book for AE Bounty is released. Looking forward to getting our hands on these to see how they have turned out.
40 dollars for the rulebook. Figures seem to be metal cast and unpainted. These american representatives arn’t giving us much about the products, or is that just me?
To be fair to the guys, there really just reporting on what’s happening at Gen Con, but don’t worry we’ll get a closer look at these products soon.
These guys aren’t pros, and they are doing a great job getting us first sight on the latest gear. It’s cool to get the show floor chats. Hope BoW are planning the same for gamesday as I’m working that weekend…
it leaves more to the imagination…!?
Depending on shipping I’ll probably be ordering AE: Bounty in the not too distant future. The character creation options sound like they are rediculously vast which is always the best thing you can have in a skirmish game, it’s also got a wee campaign/experience system in there too.
AE WWII keeps cathing eye I’ll have to give it a go soon. Hopefully we’ll see them produce some armor.
Also “good job” to the American crew. An yes we American’s always have that cheesy smile on our faces.
I actually own the first 2 rulebooks they released after i saw their demo at the Penny Arcade Expo last year here in Washington State. I like the game system and the fluff is spectacular.
The one downside I do have about their rulebooks is that the pages loosen from the binding rather easily. If anyone were to buy their books then i would recommend getting a binder with sheet protectors sooner rather than later.
