Good for marking entropic strike victims and which cryptek is which.
Although they look pretty cool i feel they are also highly unnecessary.
Isn’t that one of the main points of wargaming with style going the ‘highly unnecessary’ route? Adding some sexiness to those hard painted models never hurts.
It would be interesting to see what these look like stood up against a necron troop model. If the scale is right, you could attach these to a Lychguard / Praetorian’s left arm or back, (the markers with the necron heads) & use them as a sort of power shield. No rules for them, but they would look pretty cool.
