Nice video. I’ve got some more advice though 🙂 First of al I found that it’s better to use 2 small units of Mc Thralls instaed of one big one. Because of the low command value of the leader they have to clump together witch makes them very nice targets for aoe attacks. Dump one Helljack and indeed replace the other for a seether. Two big Helljacks is to much for a caster like Great Gaspy. He’s much better of debuffing the enemy and buffing his own units. I personally love Bane Thralls with him. The extra arm debuff they… Read more »
Good advice Andy! Some thoughts from me: Mechanithralls are great in regard to their price and damage output, but they hit NOTHING. I think they are really good with casters that can debuff the enemies DEF or boost the Mechanithralls MAT, e.g. Denegrah (p&e), pSkarre and so on. But not Asphyxious. Here is a list I would recommend: Iron Lich Asphyxious * Cankerworm (5pts) (Sneaky, funny guy that can annoy the hell out of you opponent *g*) * Nightwretch (4pts) (Arc node) * Seether (9pts) (Focus efficient) * Skarlock Thrall Bane Thralls (Leader and 9 Grunts) (Great for removing high… Read more »
A few things I’d like to toss in here, know the video has been up for some time, but I’ve been away: Asphyxious’ spell Breath of Corruption is amazing, and I didn’t hear much about it here, if anything at all, unlike most AOE’s, everyone it touches takes that POW 12 roll, which is great for clearing out troops, and it also leaves a cloud behind, which can be nice for blocking line of sight, a nice spell for your Skarlock to toss out as well. Mechanithralls are wonderful, but more so the Necrosurgeon unit, these are simply a must,… Read more »
Looking into doing a khador list soon?
That was very intresting.
You know, I just realised I’m just a little bit sad.
I sat and watched through this although I have absolutely no idea at all about warmachine, its rules, stats or any of its miniatures.
There are plenty of resources here on the site and lots of other people eager to answer your questions if your are interested.
This is where Andy tends to shine hope to see more 🙂

As Bane thralls have been mentioned I hear there is a never ending debate over
Bane thralls+BLT vs Bane Knights
I would love an Andy discussion re this thorny debate
Nice to see more Warmachine. My son and I are pulling away from 40K and getting back to WM and soon Hordes. Good times, good times.
