15mm Walls from CorSec Engineering
November 28, 2011 by beerogre
The guys at CorSec Engineering have released a preview of their new design for 15mm walls and a corner Watchtower.
There are plans afoot to scale these up to 28mm, so we'll be keeping our eyes open for that.
The corner sections don’t align properly, but this is still a good idea for a product, especially with the ability to build a ‘laser fence’. I’d like to see dedicated corner locking pieces as well as the straight section joins.
Its a prototype. The corners where just roughed in. Several changes are going to be made. The towers might also become compatible with the rest of the uprights. So you can place them anywhere. Gate house and large double wide towers are in the works as well.

Sweet. Looking forward to seeing this in 28mm too.

All I have to say is you guys are real engineers, so I think real miniature laser fences shouldn’t be too much to ask for. 😉
Don’t tempt me. I really want to rig a set with EL wire to really make them glow 🙂 Besides actual laser fences would be boring. Just a sign in the ground telling you not to walk any further. high power lasers are hard to see outside of controlled situations. Now plasma… That could be fun.

Awesome idea. The only issue I have with the el wire is that its flexible, so the bends / twists would blow the illusion of it being a beam of light / energy a bit, but still, really cool idea…
Now where did I put my Tron cosplay outfit….
