You can comment on Facebook, here on Beasts of War and of course Youtube to be in with a chance of winning!
We're also looking at the community reaction to our new 3 Colours Up Show and checking out some surprises from DUST Studio that arrived in our mail bag.
As well as that loveliness it's time to chat Warhammer 40,000 some more as Warren unveils more plans for his new army and what alternative models he'll be picking up.
Oh and if you like rambling, we have rambling! Warren chats significant historical battles from Waterloo to World War II and what it takes to be a strategic master.

Loving the new Privateer bags.
Thanks for another epic show guys!
mouth foaming worthy battle foam
Don’t fret about the beard @warzan other people shave because the weight of manhood is to much 😉 and Ogryns come from planets with high gravity, it was something that took many generations to happen, they wernt genetically engineered…
Ahh! My mistake, still out of a cartoon though 😉
And surely on a high gravity planet, the live that would evolve would be smaller and finer?
Definitely not fine or the extra forces will snap you in half as you try to move around. Smaller makes good sense though.
To provide proper support, bone cross-section must increase directly with weight. Weight is the product of mass and gravity, so bone diameter must be proportional to the square root of gravity. Let’s apply this to man. The typical human femur, the most perfectly cylindrical and largest single bone in our bodies, measures 3.5 centimeters in diameter. Using the above square-root relation, we find that the thigh-bone should increase to 4.9 cm on a two-gee world or shrink to 1.6 cm on a 0.2-gee planet for identical support of a 70 kg human body mass. Experiments have confirmed that animals reared… Read more »
That’s science and shit yo!
What do you do for living lol
he works for the Mechanicum 😉
nice bags
like the moley
I never thought I’d consider battlefoam but my collection is sprawling all over the place! Maybe it’s time to think about it!
The bags look very good
Nice give away !
A good bag is what I need.
Liking the sounds of BOW gaming day for 40k.
Didn’t think i’d enjoy this show today ( due to it’s content ) but it was actually a lot of fun. Bit gutted about next week but if you want to, you can make up for it by finally posting the Deadzone game. ( Hint, hint. ) 😀
Also. On the whole I do love Battlefoam stuff. But holy christ they are far, far to expensive for what you get.
Great show guys again. Yes Napoleonic’s love the period, yes lots of errors in your discussion, but I do not care about that as it is a learning journey!
Playing, learning and having fun is what it gaming should be about.
Facts and figures are relevant to history and let’s not forget it really happened! All tribute to those that sacrificed so much from all nations.
But gaming is as commented on, is picking up the baton of “what if” as well as re-enactment of facts using the tactics of the day.
I’m gonna sit down and paint som Soulhunters for my Cryx, this will be the perfect video to have on in the background. ^^
Another great show guys. Will be sitting down to read the Dust rules later today.
Mess that AT-AT back up please.
They should make the AT-AT the official BoW dog and move it around for each show.
I actually know more about Napoleon now then I did before. Got a bit of a knowledge gap when it comes to napoleonistic history
You know that reputation you have, @warzan? You don’t have that reputation anymore lol. If that doesn’t inspire someone to try historical gaming, nothing will.
Getting closer to backstaging every day!
Well worth it IMO. Join us! 😉
Resistance is futile…
Warren, Black Powder and Albion Triumphant Vol 2 supplement from Warlord Games should satiate your Napoleonic square-forming needs.
Well, a new bag could be handy. 😛
this is cool 🙂
Great weekender as always. Like the history lesson thrown in at the end. On the subject of wargamming and history the Prussian military used to wargame, as most armies do nowadays, before any battle and during training. The officers would take the roles of bluefor (friendly), Redfor(enemy), and whitefor(civilian). They would then be given a scenario and would play out the scenario with a senior officer as the referee. All actions would be carried out but they would use a dice to simulate effects, such as weather, moral of troops, supply issues, and reactions of civillians. All leading to each… Read more »
You can buy the Dust pre-paints in different styles.
Thank you for fixing the AT-AT – was grinding me also 😉
Cheers Warren
Epic Avatar! My favorite character from RoTJ, and probably the only thing that saved the second half of that movie. 🙂
