Salute 2014 The Ultimate Tour Part 2
April 23, 2014 by warzan
It's time for the second part of our Ultimate Tour of Salute 2014! So far you've seen some epic tables and awesome miniatures but we've got plenty more where that came from! We'll be crossing all time periods, entering fantasy worlds and checking our far flung galaxies as well.
The icing on the cake is a look at the absolutely awesome Dropzone Commander booth where they had that amazing Avenger Dropship Carrier!
Make sure to let us know in the comments what you're pick would be from the tables and companies in the video!
Yeh cheers guys. I was just on the verge of losing the hyper Salute buzz and now it’s all come flooding back. More desperate than ever for next years now.
Great Vid lads.
Great video guys.
I’ve seen the pictures before, but it’s hard to get an idea of the scale of that dropship from stills, it’s very impressive.
I have to say though, 4ground are the stand out product range I’ve seen from salute. Genuinely impressive stuff there and way beyond what anything else in the market is offering as far as I can tell.
Part 2, Yes!
Can’t wait for that Great Hall skirmish for SAGA 😀
BoW Ben
Oh so many awesome games and tables! 4Ground is going to see a lot of my money. Great job!
Oh My I was there but seeing this I didn’t see anything at all, thanks guys
Having seen this I understand the buzz for 4ground. Oh! My!
The Avenger is ace can’t wait till she’s finished.
Love the quality and range of scenery that is being made now.
How many parts are there?
the “elf ranger” is a guy from my local wargaming club, made me giggle that 🙂
Second Video Bomb at about 48:30. Opps sorry it looks like I bomb you guys three time as I forgot about this time. Face palm.
WOW! I’m thoroughly impressed, I’ll need to go to salute at some point in the near future, because that was stunning.
Looks I managed the world’s worst videobomb about 41 minutes in. I also managed to completely miss the new 4Ground fantasy buildings. Presumably because I spent too much time gawking at the Dark Age table. Great to hear about the Great Hall Brawl too.
10:53 my effort.
I spent more money on terrain than anything else at Salute. Looking at these vids it’s easy to see why.
The Vahalla rules were a steal at £5. They also brought a small game table outside while we waiting for the 10.00 off, which I thought was a nice touch. I got to throw some dice and despatch a couple of warriors to Odins hall before the show even opened.
Obviously a good omen for the day ahead.
Great stuff! I love to see that homebrew games and scratch builds are still alive and well.
This proves its a golden age of gaming IMO.
Awesome products made by people with talent and passion, exceeding their customers expectations. And loads of people being creative in inspiring ways ,and enjoying their hobby .
Excellent coverage guys,I wish I could have gone.(maybe next year…)
Thanks for the great coverage guys, these two videos were fantastic and has got us very excited to go again next year.
The wife, my son and I didn’t want to be rude to you at Victrix so we gave you a mini bomb in view of @lloyd filming about 5mins.
Can’t wait for next years show, to see all the hard work that people put into our great hobby.
Just amazing ..i want to come to salute 2015…yep !!!
Woo, vidbomb 😉
You can’t video bomb when you’re honorary crew. Dem’s da rulz.
Dancing? Alright, I’ll allow it.
I shall continue to dance then 😛
So good.
I love the 4 Ground stuff… What can I sell, maybe a kidney?
I can’t believe that I spent 6 hours walking around the show ad didn’t see you once :/
The best coverage of a Wargame Con I can imagine. Games, Models and Terrain come to life in the hands of hobbyist.
Besides Warren getting sexually assaulted, great video guys! The 4ground stuff is next level awesome.
Hi, One of the three things that turned me from an occasional viewer to a fully-paid up backstager was last years coverage of Salute! For those of us who are not able to make it there, your coverage, enthusiasm and efforts on our behalf is really appreciated. I would really support your plans to bring a bigger team next year because my only tiny gripe (and it is meant to be small) is that I would have loved you being able to spend a bit more time with everyone. It’s obvious that you are doing your best to cover as… Read more »
