Bring The Holy Land To Life With SAGA Buildings From 4Ground
March 15, 2015 by brennon
4Ground have begun work on a range of SAGA buildings for The Crescent & The Cross, the Crusades era version of the rules for fighting it out between Christians and Muslims in the Holy Land. To make those desert landscapes look complete check out this Arabic Rural Dwelling...
This is a basic dwelling that you'd see among many that dotted the landscape where villages and small trading outposts could have risen up over time. Despite its relatively simple look it's actually still quite complex when you think about it with thick walls and a neat opening door, plus the cool wooden support beams to add on.
If you grabbed a few of these you could easily work out a scenario for a village raid or maybe even the settlement before a larger city that the Crusaders are trying to ransack in a siege.
Nice atmospheric buildings for building character on the battlefield once more from 4Ground.
Would you pick these up?

I would use these on any WWII desert board, and would even use them on a backwards CS-fi desert world board. Pretty versatile.
or even something down Mexico way. Space is always the issue with terrain so pieces that can be used in many games moves them up the shopping list.
Or Africa maybe? 🙂
Could definitely see these things being used by the Eqyptians too.
These look generic enough for nearly any period which always a good thing
I’ll second that.
That looks lovely. My club needs some new stuff to put on our desert board, I hope they have some available at Salute. 😀
It would be interesting to see someone use these an other such buildings to make a kind of Pueblo board for some of the wild-west settings
I was thinking Wild West Exodus…..but i think they look like they might be a little small for WWX.
