The Yogscast Take On D&D With High Rollers Live Streams

Warning - Some Bad Language In This Live Stream Session!
The Yogscast, a group of Youtubers who play loads of video games, have been branching out of late. In some of their Live Streams they've looked at board games and their new High Rollers show (see the first episode above) takes them to the world of Dungeons & Dragons...
Their cast of characters includes Jiutou the Monk above along with Cam Buckland the Cleric, Elora the Druid and Trellimar the Warlock...
The artwork is superb and makes me wish I had someone to draw my group's characters! It's all been done by Nina Serena and forms the backdrop for their campaign on the live streams. The show takes many cues from Critical Role (always something good to base your work on) with a Dungeon Master who is very good at explaining the scenes before the heroes and painting a great picture of the action.
This stream has been good watching so far and Episode Two is also available online too if this takes your fancy. This would certainly be a good way to get first time role-players interested in D&D as they take some time to go through exactly what some of the mechanics of the game are too.
Will you be tuning in each Sunday?

I love the Yogscast, but a word of warning ‘ They do use adult language and cover adult themes in their games’ so you might not want the ‘Kiddies’ listening in.
There are a few F and S bombs in this one but generally they are ok here actually. But yes – might want to wear the headphones just in case.
theyve done a good few roleplaying campaigns over the years, the recent one with Trott dressed as the Ewok was so funny, my one bugbear about them is they call every game they play D&D even if they are playing edge of the empire or pathfinder and refer to the hobby as D&D instead of roleplaying.
A very enjoyable and promising start to a new video series. What frightens me is that adult gamers look so very young these days.
