WizKids Show Off Their D&D Heroes Of The Realm!
June 21, 2014 by brennon
See what you think of the WizKids Dungeons & Dragons Icons of the Realm that will be taking to your tabletop towards the end of Summer. As well as Attack Wing they are also looking to produce some pre-painted miniatures for use with your role-playing on the tabletop...
So as you can see all of these are renders at the moment and you can pretty much bet that the actual pre-painted models aren't going to look as good as this. Saying that however WizKids have done an exceptionally good job on the Dragons we've seen so far for Attack Wing so I think maybe we could be onto something great with these.
Are they going to be a replacement for the amazing Collector's Series from Gale Force Nine? No. However they will be perfectly good for everyday use on the tabletop as dungeon crawling heroes and villains.
What do you think?

I liked the children’s entertainer with the balloon. What is she going to turn it into, a dachshund, perhaps?
I like pics of prepainted models like these – they encourage me to pick up my own brushes and put Romain’s tutorials to some good practical use!
Only real issue with WizKids is that their Prepainting rarely comes as advertised so unless theyve improved their products over the last couple of years (been a while since I bought anything from them) then I fear they’re going to ruin a great idea
i quite often just do a repaint on them, the only problem are the transparent plastic effect parts
