Wizards Release Out Of The Abyss Dungeons & Dragons Campaign
September 16, 2015 by brennon
Wizards of the Coast has now released the Out Of The Abyss Dungeons & Dragons campaign which is playable for characters of level one all the way up to fifteen. The Underdark is calling - will you brave its depths?
"The Underdark is a subterranean wonderland, a vast and twisted labyrinth where fear reigns. It is the home of horrific monsters that have never seen the light of day.
It is here that the dark elf Gromph Baenre, Archmage of Menzoberranzan, casts a foul spell meant to ignite a magical energy that suffuses the Underdark and tears open portals to the demonic Abyss.
What steps through surprises even him, and from that moment on, the insanity that pervades the Underdark escalates and threatens to shake the Forgotten Realms to its foundations. Stop the madness before it consumes you!"
Will you giving this a go with your dungeon delving group? It certainly provides an interesting and new setting for you to be adventuring in, experiencing a world where demons and alien-like creatures dwell in the darkness.
Let us know if you've picked this up.

I’ll be looking into this.
The two-headed ape monster appears to be Demogorgon, the Demon Prince. That unpleasant chap dates back to the original AD&D.
Another adventure…and as the ones before a little too “epic” for my taste as to count as beginner adventures. Still not a supplement that fleshes out the world…and the novells are also not there to fill the gap. Great stuff..and really beautyfull…but after over a year it starts to feal like the opposite from the last edition where they neglected the adventure part a bit and focused on lots and lots of “technical” books.
