February 4, 2022 by fcostin
It seems the world is going Witcher-mad as of recent. Watching the Netflix show, and inspiring a lot of us to tap into video games and travel across Novrigrad to take on beasts large and ferocious and squeeze in a game of Gwent. From Contracts on notice boards to Igni-casting Leshen takedowns, it's no doubt that fans of the franchise are keen on dipping into The Witcher TTRPG to explore the world to carve out their own path during the 3rd Nilfgaardian War.
Core Rulebook // The Witcher TTRPG
If you have never dipped your toe into The Witcher TTRPG, players will traverse across the world of The Witcher. Wrestling with human politics, bloodthirsty monsters, and the chance to embed yourself as your very own Witcher.
Players can already immerse themselves in the vast content that has already been released by R.Talsorian Games, including the Core Rulebook and many supplements. But the publisher and gearing up for an exciting year for the TTRPG with upcoming news for the roleplaying title, and what we can expect in the adventure.

The Tome of Chaos is making its way into the universe this spring. A new supplement containing everything a party will need to control, fight and wield magic in the TTRPG. Including new spells, signs, hexes, Dark Arts and items to add to the bank. But that's not all, the book will include a wealth of lore to bury into, exploration of new professions such as Priest and Mage and some new mysterious creatures approaching. A supplement that will certainly fill your boots with opportunity.
The title was announced at Gen Con last year, and fans have eager to get their hands on The Tome of Chaos. But, R.Talsorian Games have confirmed that the final approval is now in the hands of CD Projekt Red for final approval, ready for a spring release date. Teasing the premise that there will be another book coming to the tabletop in fall/winter this year.
The TTRPG has been around since 2018 and still going strong. As I said, there are already a ton of supplements available to download digitally if you do want to get stuck in before the Tome of Chaos release - all accessible on DriveThruRPG.
Have you entered The Witcher TTRPG? What do you think?
