Kobold Press is gearing up for their newest release this summer, bringing a whole book of 5E whimsy to the tabletop. Book of Ebon Tides is fresh off of Kickstarter and now with the retail date nailed down. Bringing dark Fey magic into a world of corruption and intrigue in the Shadow Realm.

Watched the KS video, read a bit, and I find it an interesting addendum to the overall D&D trove of writing. I haven’t read The Manual of the Planes but this might well be a fun way to segue into and out of Sigil and the intriguing realm of Planescape. With the return of previous IPs under the TSR banner old flags might well be flown again under the sun.
