The Game was interesting enough, but I gave up on the books a long time ago.
I know a lot of people love the books but I just found them drawn out and dull. Hell I gave up in disgust after reading a book and a half of the characters looking for a friggin bowl.
Robert Jordan seemed to have the motto – Why use 1 word when 2 paragraphs will do.
Not to mention heroes that become awesome at something half an hour after first trying it out – regardless of what it is.
Made it to book 7 and I couldn’t keep up with all the new characters.
As I said in the video… a 15 minute review doesn’t do the whole series of novels justice.
But the RPG is good and a lot more manageable.
I’ve read nine of the books, and will finish the series off when the new author has finished writing them. They are very wordy, and a LOT of time is spent describing clothes! 🙂
I’ve never played the RPG but it sounded interesting. I loved the video, hope to see more shows along the lines of this one. 12-20mins talking about a topic is awesome.
