What’s Coming Next For Cubicle 7’s Warhammer 40K: Wrath & Glory?
March 14, 2022 by brennon
Cubicle 7 has been exploring what awaits those who are diving deep into Warhammer 40,000: Wrath & Glory. Their grimdark Sci-Fi wargame is expanding with loads of new ways to get started in the game and continue your current adventures.
Warhammer 40,000: Wrath & Glory // Cubicle 7
The first of the new options coming to Wrath & Glory is the addition of a Gamemaster Screen...
- All of the most frequently referenced (and some obscure but useful) rules.
- 8 exciting adventures, with options for play at Tiers 1 through 4
- 6 useful NPCs, highly detailed profiles, suitable for dropping into an ongoing campaign, or using as a Patron or Antagonist to kick off new adventures.
It's nice to see that it is becoming a trend nowadays to include some additional information and such beyond just the screen. I am most excited to see what those new adventures are to help people get started in Wrath & Glory.
Secondly, perhaps the biggest announcement is the news of a new Starter Set for Wrath & Glory landing soon.
- A 48-page adventure scenario designed to teach the basic (and some advanced) rules that can be used as a standalone event or as the starting point for an entire campaign.
- A 64-page guide to the Varonius Flotilla, home to dozens of ambitious Lord-Captains each vying to advance their own agenda, as well as information on some of the flotilla’s regular ports of call, with lasting value for new and existing players.
- 5 gatefold character sheets with pre-generated characters, each with their own goals, background, and connections.
- Three two-sided rules reference sheets with rules for Tests, combat, and psychic powers.
- A set of custom six-sided dice with Icons and Exalted Icons.
- Tokens for Wrath, Glory, and Ruin.
I am a big fan of the Starter Sets from Cubicle 7. They have done fantastic work with the one for Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play and Warhammer Age Of Sigmar Soulbound. The same seems to be the case here, at least from a first glance over the contents they have coming up!
New Wrath & Glory Sourcebooks
In addition to the new options for getting started in Wrath & Glory, or at least enhance your experiences, we also have a set of books to keep an eye out for. The first of these is Threat Assessment: Xenos which introduces new Threats for you to battle against in the grimdark of the far future.
Inside this book, you'll find rules for coming up against Orks, Necrons, Asuryani, Drukhari, T’au and their allies, and the insidious Genestealer Cults.
Aeldari: Inheritance Of Embers expands things for the Xenos but for players. Inside, you'll find rules for the Asuryani, Corsairs, Harlequins, and Drukhari and playing all of them through the addition of new Archetypes!
Going back to the Imperium, Vow Of Absolution is going to be a sourcebook for the Adeptus Astartes. This explores the Firstborn and Primaris of the Space Marines including the Absolver Chapter that have made their mark throughout the Gilead System.
Additionally, there are going to be introducing a few PDF titles. These include Pilgrims Of The Wastes and Tools Of The Psyker. There is also Nemesis: Wretches Of The Writ. More details on those can be found HERE.
There is a lot of fun stuff lined up to dive into for Wrath & Glory throughout the rest of 2022!

My word anytime I see a WH40K RPG my mind is transported back to a time when “Inquisitor” was a thing. What I liked most about Inquisitor was the marketing genius behind it – lets make this game compatible with only 50mm miniatures to avoid people just using the 28mm ones. Fairly certain that reason alone killed this game off before it even started. You can still pick up some of the “minis” on Ebay and to be fair they look decent. Imagine how great a 50mm miniature would look now with modern sculpting or casting methods? You could imagine… Read more »
Can you imagine the price tag G’wullu would slap on that? 😉 #scnr
for a 50mm miniature? well the Primarchs range from about 65 – 85 pounds!
which some of the old Inquisitor models are actually going for on ebay…..
Dayum.. and to think I threw out a dozen or so of them, still in boxes unopened, last month..
If only they didn’t print all this stuff in China I would be quite excited by these announcements. As it is…no thanks.
Looks good for small intense fun game’s.
