WizKids’ Wardlings Young Adventurers Released Soon
November 29, 2017 by brennon
If you've got young ones interested in Dungeons & Dragons or other Fantasy role-playing games then you won't have long to wait until the Wardlings range is available from WizKids.
Inside each of the sets, you're going to get a hero, featuring both boy and girl versions across the range, as well as an animal companion for them to have alongside them on their adventures.
I think this is a great idea. The pre-painted models are going to go down well with kids and give them someone to 'be' on the tabletop, allowing them to visualise their actions and what they're doing as they play through the sessions.
Hopefully, we see this range grow to include more options and alternatives for both boys and girls.
Will you be snapping some of these up for your young'uns?

This is a pretty cool idea for kids 🙂
Maybe even some grown ups
They look interesting enough that I’m thinking about getting a few of them. The pets/familiars are interesting on their own and the kids could easily do double duty as halfling adventurers if they’re scaled as kids.
I’m really hoping that they go for some more generic townsfolk kids and adults that aren’t random ones…
Those look rather good.
If these sell well, hopefully that would lead to more characters. I want to see a Paladin kid mini.
Cute. Very good idea. 🙂
The Wizards make great apprentice mini’s for Frostgrave.
