I like this mini alot. Getting into the whole Cuthulu mythos at the moment and buying Mansions of Madness from FFG for xmas. This is a great figure.

Please, go to your local bookstore and buy some Lovecraft. You wont regret it. He mainly writes short stories, so his work is pretty accessible.
Either way, I’d look into this model as a proxy for Mansions of Madness
Mountains of madness is the one with the Elder Things, if you’re curious to the exact story they feature in. I’d also recomend Shadow Out of Time, Whisperer In Darkness and The Dunwich Horror. Those are IMO the best HPL stories.
Don’t do it brother! It’s a path from which you cannot emerge unscathed. You risk your sanity, and maybe your very life. For the love of your children, don’t temp the wrath of Elder Gods, or you may suffer the fate of Francis Wayland Thurston. I mean, if your not careful, you might end up actually forking over real money to buy one of those Cthulu Christmas albums that the nutters over at Cthululives.org put out. You know your soul has been compromised when you find yourself blithely humming along to “It’s the most horrible time of the year.”
