August 31, 2022 by fcostin
Paizo has released new details for their upcoming setting book heading to shelves next year. Lost Omens: Firebrands is taking players to the high seas in a swashbuckling Pathfinder extension of a brutish and fearless sea-ridden crew.
Pathfinder Lost Omens: Firebrands // Pathfinder 2E
Are the ideals of Fame and Fortune the focused drive of your adventures? Enjoy a fierce sense of grit and a non-conforming life on the Inner Sea? You'll fit right in amongst the aggressively liberated Firebrands.
"The Firebrands were born in the flames of rebellion, eventually becoming some of the Inner Sea’s most well-known adventurers. Lost Omens Firebrands takes a detailed look at the characters that choose to take on oppressors or simply head out on adventures for fame and fortune." - Paizo
If you see yourself as a new recruit looking to gain some stocky sea legs, or want to find yourself embedded amongst a thick crew ripe to employ interesting tactics for plundering; the upcoming book will school you in all things Firebrands. This will showcase the organisation themselves - whether that be the cause they fight for, lore and story or missions to fearlessly throw yourself into. There are also extra magical items, spells and information to further weave any hardened Firebrand into any ongoing campaign.
Lost Omens: Firebrands is set to be released in March next year, extending the Pathfinder Lost Omens world and setting.
There seem to be a lot more pirate-centric titles making their way to the tabletop next year... I am calling it. The year of 2023 will be the year of the pirates! Certainly beats Cyberpunk year 2021!
