Explore The Stargate SG-1 RPG More With Two New Releases
January 4, 2022 by fcostin
It is time to step through the event horizon, as players will have their chance to raid the depths of Cheyenne Mountain for a shiny new GM Screen and Item Cards for flawless gameplay and rapid reference in the SG-1 themed 5E adventure: Stargate SG-1 The Roleplaying Game from Wyvern Gaming.
Core Rulebook // Stargate SG-1 The Roleplaying Game
Personally, I did screech out loud when it came to the realisation that Stargate SG-1 was a show of the 90s, but I am certainly happy for an in-depth revival for players to immerse themselves in the rich universe and harness the power of the Stargate on their missions throughout the galaxy.
Gate Master Screen // Stargate SG-1 The Roleplaying Game
The two new products heading over to retail will benefit both players and GM. The GM Screen - or formally known as The Gate Master Screen - will include a wide range of information to keep adventurers on their path, as players attempt on a successful skirmish against the Goa’uld, the GM will be equipped with a three-panel information block that references key information in-game. Whether that be quick access to Skills, Encounters, Missions and so much more.
Upcoming Item Cards // Stargate SG-1 The Roleplaying Game
The second release coming this month for Stargate S-G1: The Roleplaying Game, is a set of item cards taking players out of their book and into the endless cultures of the Stargate universe. Providing a shortcut for players, these cards will work as a quick reference to stats and information per item.
The Stargate SG-1 Roleplaying Game is around online to download digitally, however, players can expect the release of a Gate Master Screen and Item Cards at their FLGS by the end of the month.
Have you stepped through the Stargate yourself?

I backed the kickstarter for this, it’s been so long (not their fault I accept) that I’ve lost all interest in it.
Same here, been waiting ages for the book and stl files. Pretty much lost interest by now.
Looking at the KS comments this appears to be a company to avoid.
Yeah won’t be backing anything from anything from them again. Sad really I love Stargate, prob end up selling it and making a loss.
Yep I doubt I’d back another of their kickstarters. I can understand some complexity in the licensing as MGM have been sold to Amazon over the period but still not a great experience.
But hey I love Stargate and I don’t back a Kickstarter with high expectations, sure I hope it will deliver but it’s always a gamble.
? I’ll see some game videos first.
Wasn’t there an SG1 game years ago?
D&D3.5/Modern variant possibly.
Yes there was a D20 edition Stargate RPG by AEG. It used the Spycraft system which was based on D&D 3rd. There were a few books in the series if I recall correctly.
