Stålenhag’s Tales From The Loop World Coming To Amazon Video
July 18, 2018 by brennon
Simon Stålenhag's Tales From The Loop which was made into a wonderful role-playing game by Fria Ligan is going to become an eight-part Amazon Video TV series and explore the strange Sci-Fi goings on for the residents who live around 'The Loop'.
The role-playing game centres around you playing as kids who go out and explore the strange Sci-Fi events that happen because of The Loop, a large underground facility which unlocks and explores the mysteries of the universes and sometimes creates places in reality where things cross over.
For those who are fans of Stranger Things, I can see this having a similar appeal but I think that the Nordic twist on this is going to offer up some fascinating new twists to the formula and Amazon have had a good track record with their work of late so I can't wait to see what happens here.
Will you be tuning in to see how this plays out?

I liked the looks of this game when being launched with a slightly tripod’s look to it.
I hope it stays centered around the kids much the same as Stranger Things have been doing.
Wow! Talk about spooky timing. I just discovered and bought this RPG last week!
It has simple dice mechanics, fast character generation, and lots of potential for stories. I’m starting up a group in it soon.
As far as bringing the RPG game to life, Amazon will get crucified if they don’t use exactly the same art that the game uses. I don’t mean as in style, I mean the very same art. There is a huge fan base centered around just the art.
I look forward to checking out the series.
