Splintered Light Miniatures have been working on some more 15mm scale models that will fit into both your Historical and Fantasy wargaming. First up we have the Viking Shieldmaidens followed by the roar of an Ettin!

Shieldwall!

If you're looking for something small to use for your role-playing games as warriors in a mighty mead hall or for your actual wargaming then see what you think of the Shieldmaidens...

Shieldmaidens #1

Shieldmaidens #2

Each of these models will come with a separate shield so they aren't going to be bereft of their defence when it comes to fighting on the battlefield. I think these are really neat for the scale and could be great for a set of NPCs or indeed Player Characters in a role-playing game.

Are Two Heads Better Than One?

As well as the historical warrior women we have a look at another monster for their collection of 15mm scale beasts. See what you think of the surly but brutal Ettin...

Ettin (Front)

Ettin (Rear)

A fantastic looking sculpt once again and while I know that 28mm scale is the one that everyone defaults too for most role-playing miniatures I think people should begin to look at 15mm for their monster and hero collections when it comes to role-playing.

It just seems to make sense to pick up some of these smaller models, be able to fit them into your travelling Game Masters menagerie, and bring out a massive array of different creatures at the gaming table.

What do you think?
