CMON have their fingers in a lot of pies. It is not just Zombicide and The A Song Of Ice & Fire Miniatures Game in which they are peddling. There is a wealth of games in the CMON library, and now we see that they are making a closer move to add more tabletop RPGs to their arsenal.

Household // CMON & 2LM Press

Award-winning RPG title, Household will be heading over to Kickstarter soon. With CMON & 2LM Press teaming up to bring Household to the English-speaking market with a new edition.

Proving incredibly successful in Italian, the game will get a new revival for its first printing in English. Bringing together fantastical creatures taken throughout European folklore, as players bury their heads into the role of the mysterious, as Littling creatures who dwell away from humankind in an abandoned mansion.

This mansion is no ordinary mansion, and I say abandoned lightly. This mansion is home to a wealth of different fantastical and classic fairy tale creatures, with floors and floors to explore.

Being the size of a borrower and hoping to survive as a teeny-tiny creature, immersed in a wide and vast forest outside the door. Whatever human lived there before, had left behind lots of different types of tools that can be equipped to ward off enemies, and has helped the constructs of the civilisation living there.

Because players will be so tiny, they will need to look out for what lurks in the woods around them. I am sure a spider is much more terrifying if it is twice the size of you!  But just because you will be equipped for battle, doesn't mean you should be prepared for slaying! Players are also encouraged to befriend some of the wildlife out there, who knows - you could get a terrifying new mount and ally.

Staying inside the house but as a smaller being is certainly tempting, imagine finding all of the nooks and crannies within your own household walls to unfold secrets of the unknown.

The story sounds fantastic, and you know me, I am always up for befriending an animal or ten! The campaign will be heading over to Kickstarter within the second quarter of the year bringing some adorable whimsical characters off into an explorative narrative RPG, at the peril of beings that creep and crawl in the dark - scaling down from your normal enemy.
