Tales Of Esquestria My Little Pony RPG Gets It’s Cover Art
August 10, 2016 by brennon
River Horse move closer towards the release of their My Little Pony role-playing/storytelling game, Tales Of Equestria, as they show off the cover art from the book!
While this might not be everyone's cup of tea here on Beasts of War I know a fair few folks who would love to pick this up for their younger children so they can explore storytelling and role-playing on the tabletop.
The artwork does, from my limited knowledge of My Little Pony, look rather awesome too with some great character designs for both the female and male characters.
Is this something you'll pick up?

I like to say something….but “I`m feeling a little horse”……!!!
This is why I miss the “thumb down” button.
…. joking, have a thumbs up 😀
Actually, what DID happen to the thumbs down? I miss that function slightly. Did the thumb down trigger someone?
Some people can’t handle getting a thumbs down online I assume.
people simply couldn’t stop horsing around …
To which I’d say : ‘Ni!’ …
Clearly deserves the CSI yeeeeeaaaahhh 8)
no it should be a “niii” or whatever sound horses make according to English language.
haha when you said “ni” I immediately thought of the Knights who say Ni, classic!
maybe they want to have a shrubbery too …
It does not interest me personally but, from a business standpoint it has great potential, moreover this will be the starting point for many young gamers and its possible contribution for the widening of our industry should not be underestimated.
from a strictly business standpoint, surely this game would have done better to be released a few years back when Brony culture was at its height
Actually I think Brony Culture is doing fine and may be stronger than ever, The “Missing Cutey mark” episodes are up for a Hugo, and I have seen them they deserve it.
Mister Ben RPG please….. full of new worlds to explore, and of course dressing up for real.!!!
this could be brilliant
Really?
Here, a little help, if you guys don’t know what to write about;

Stuff like this won prizes;

As casual Brony I can safely say that FiM does lend itself well to RPG so this should be good if they have done it right.
Count me in bronys and ponys
I really was convinced that this had been an April Fools’ prank of Epic proportions.
It’s going to be interesting to see where this is going.
May well have a look at this for the 9 year old daughter. Tried some 4th ed D&D before which she liked but just as a way of playing combat rather than really role playing. Depends on the mechanics I guess.
For your “daughter”, yeahhh okaaay 😉
indeed …
I tell them it’s “for my nephew” …
oh the lies we tell people when buying this stuff.
Sometimes I’m ready to believe them myself.
Needs miniatures!
I mean, there’s only a metric ton of them for MLP produced already?
