River Horse Announce New Family RPG Project, Tales Of Primordia!
November 29, 2022 by brennon
River Horse has recently announced a new family roleplaying game project coming to Kickstarter in 2023. Tales Of Primordia will see you roleplaying as dinosaurs looking to save your land from the misbehaviour of the Dum-Dums!

Tales Of Primordia builds on the success with roleplaying games that River Horse has had with the likes of The Dark Crystal Adventure Game and My Little Pony: Tales Of Equestria. The family themes continue here with kids (of all ages...yes, even big kids!) can dive in and have fun telling out stories where you take on the role of a kindly Stegosaurus or a mighty T-Rex, dealing with the machinations of the Dum-Dums (us silly humans) who are threatening the world.
The set that they have planned already looks fantastic with the three books, sticker sheets, cards, dice, character sheets to fill in and colour, a map and more. I am totally won over by the artstyle too which features some very lovable characters.

Players will take on the role of custom dinosaurs and get themselves stuck into all manner of adventures both big and small. I'm already on board with the idea of maintaining the balance of nature and dealing with those dastardly Dum-Dums who have come and damned up the rivers and chopped down the forests!

A little bit of additional information has been added to the Tales Of Primordia Website if you're eager to know more. You can get a look at more of the artwork that the team has been working on and get a feel for the setting that you'll be diving into.
I'm a massive fan of roleplaying games and think they are some of the best fun you can have at the tabletop. So, getting kids involved early and letting them have fun being creative and getting them to energise their imaginations seems like a great idea.
As I've also noted, I am a massive kid anyway so I could see this being good fun to try out even with the grey hairs starting to show through!
Are you going to be keeping an eye on Tales Of Primordia?
