Reaper Miniatures are going to be taking Joseph C. Wolf's Dungeon Dwellers Roleplaying Game to Kickstarter. If you're looking for an alternative Fantasy roleplaying game from the folks who make possibly the largest selection of roleplaying miniatures out there, you will be able to dive in soon!

The Kickstarter for Dungeon Dwellers is going to be coming very soon but if you can't wait for the campaign, you're in luck as the Beta Rules for the roleplaying game are available to download right now over on the Reaper Miniatures website.

Those familiar with roleplaying games like Dungeons & Dragons will find some common ground here. You have relatively familiar stat lines and you're still going to be using a d20 for your checks but there are a few tweaks here and there that set it apart from the behemoth from Wizards Of The Coast. It feels like they've found an interesting middle ground between classic D&D and the more modern game.
The Beta Rules are basic at the moment but they give you enough to make characters, set up adventures then go off and fight monsters in all manner of dungeon delves. Additionally, there are already a series of Adventure Modules for you to check out so you can skip the planning if you need!
Additionally, you can also head over to the forums and drop feedback in there for the team so they can refine the game as it moves through the development process.
Have you given Dungeon Dwellers a go and if so, what did you think?

I’ll check these rules out. I don’t know how successful the game will be if their miniature wargame Warlord is a benchmark to work from. The figure line is indeed expansive and the will prove easy enough to pull for whatever encounters they happen to write up especially with their narrative themed lines.
nice.
