With Death in Space, you will be playing as a crew who are just trying to make it from day-to-day aboard a spacecraft or space station in the void. You will move from job to job, trying to raise your crew's reputation, salvaging and stealing your way to prosperity. You'll even find yourself having to get involved in the political dealings and backstabbings of the galaxy too at times.

The game continues Stockholm Kartell's trend of making beautiful looking books. Every page seems to be drenched in great artwork that sits alongside thematically laid out mechanics. It certainly sets the scene for Death In Space. Well, if you hadn't got the vibe from the title of the game!

A pretty good collection of offerings inside the core book. I like that you've got plenty to get you started, especially with the introductory scenario, but then lots of additional ways to take your campaign to the next level. I am particularly interested in the cosmic mutations tables and what effect they are going to have on your crew of unfortunates!
