Fly my Pretties… Fly!
July 3, 2011 by beerogre
I was very remiss when I posted about this game previously on BoW. I didn't know much about it and I was interested in something a bit different for an RPG... however... it turns out that there will be miniatures created for this game too.
Miniatures created by none other than BoW stalwarts, On the Lamb Games!
Their first green is already up on their website... and it's one of the infamous Flying Monkeys!
Who knows what will be next, but I'll assume that there'll be a Tin Man, Scarecrow and Lion to contend with.
Anyway... perhaps @cyporiean can give us the inside track on the next releases for the Oz: Dark & Terrible range.

YES!!! what I always wanted, a baboon buttocks! You know thats what you can’t see but the tail is up 😛
And they can hover at face height to literally rub it in your face! lol
Looks good @cyporiean
Is it really turquoise stuff that you use? What is that please?
I’m no sculptor, just a painter and business woman. This and the Tinman (Pics awaiting approval) were sculpted by Leandro Ventic who did a few models in the Brushfire range. He uses Kneadatite to sculpt with, the photos just always seem to come out more turquoise then green for some reason.
@cyporiean If your camera auto-corrects colour and contrast, you might need to white balance your shots.
Try focusing the camera on a white sheet of paper and zooming in, then out again. This should correct the camera’s auto-correction to balance with the light.
You see… BoW ain’t just for minis and cool games… we know about photography and video too! 😀
Yeah, my camera is a POS dying a horrible electronic death. It randomly changes focus and colors on me
Folks should head backstage to take advantage of a discount and get me a new camera.
It sounds like a good idea to have a camera tip section for us camera newbies. What you say @beerogre ?
Why not… I’ll see what I can do tomorrow.
