Ninja Division and Shinobi 7 announced that they will be providing distribution for the My Little Pony RPG in U.S. They've acquired the rights to distribute the game from River Horse, under no other than the masterful, Alessio Cavatore.
2017 will kick off with the following gems for the RPG...
- My Little Pony: Tales of Equestria Core Rulebook, a 152-page full color hardcover.
- The Curse of the Statuettes Adventure Story Box Set, a boxed expansion including a 48-page full color adventure book, a gamemaster screen, a 6 polyhedron dice set, and 40 customizable character sheets.
- Tokens of Friendship, 12 gemstones with a collector’s bag.
After these initial releases, new My Little Pony: Tails of Equestria products will be released on a quarterly basis.
This game is bound to have gamer families excited as it provides a wonderful, family friendly storyline to bring gamers together around the table.

I had to spend part of my evening last night explaining to my 8 year old daughter, what a RPG is … so yes we will get it
Somehow that seems like the perfect match-up. If this doesn’t lead to official chibi ponies in Super Dungoen Explore I will be very disappointed 😀
If not, Impact miniatures have a Chibi Pony Adventurers range.
I may already have some of those 😀
This RPG is to me potential pick even if getting group together for it might be difficult outside Brony community.
interesting no models for this game?
*eh* there’s bound to be a ton of My Little Pony models in toy stores …
or were you expecting 28mm models ? 😉
no just wondering if they would have models for the game as you say their is a million plus on the market.
This strikes me as something that could be particularly interesting. Imagine if it did become popular enough to spawn additional products such as models. While I for one wouldn’t mind having a go at show accurate models it would more importantly appeal to a pretty large pool of potential hobbyists, gamers and others that typically isn’t catered too much; good for the hobby at large and maybe kicking off the introduction of new products we wouldn’t have seen otherwise.
Who knows 🙂
There is an audience for this. I am not part of it. None the less I wish Alessio and river horse well.
This really will be the RPG I’ll be turning to in the new year. I know my gang of players will scoff at the idea of a My Little Pony game but I’m sure they will turn around in time.
Any game that can be a family game works for me, setting is only so much
quaterly based releases already planned? Well good side of things is that we know this game will not be a one shot, bad side it’ll require a money offering 4 times a year 😛
It is cHasbro after all, with kids they already seem to have me give them a direct debit every month
