YouTube channel Nerdship have gathered together a group of actors and have started playing through a new Dungeons and Dragons adventure in the first episode of How We Roll.

How We Roll is a new show in the vein of series such as Critical Role. A group of actors who have never played Dungeons and Dragons before take on the role of various characters and play their way through the adventure presented to them by their DM Ryan Kindred.

This series focuses on being accessible to both long-time Dungeons and Dragons fans, and those new to roleplaying. As such, they are endeavoring to keep the weekly episodes to between forty minutes to an hour in length. This is great news for those like myself who might be put off by the idea of watching a three or four-hour long game session.

Meet the Adventurers

If you want to find out more about the different characters for this show, you can find their introduction videos here:

It's pretty cool to see more people delving into Dungeons and Dragons. For many of us, this was our first roleplaying game, so having an accessible means to share in those kinds of adventures with those who might not otherwise have come across the game is a definite plus.

So far, I'd say that How We Roll is off to a good start. The actors play their characters well and the production quality is good. I'm looking to finding out where the adventure heads next.
